在美上市的公司根据 SEC 的规定每三个月发布一份财报（也称 10Q 表格， Q=Quarter ，季度），披露在这段时期内它的营收、支出费用、利润和其他财务细节，使股东了解公司的业绩，并在证券监管机构 SEC 进行备案。
资产负债表（ B/S ： Balance Sheet ）

现金流量表（ CF/S ： Cash Flow Statement ）

资产负债表亦称财务状况表，表示企业在一定日期（通常为各会计期末）的财务状况（即资产、负债和业主权益的状况）。
会计中的恒等式：资产 = 负债 + 所有者权益（ Assets=Liabilities + Equity ），简： A=L+E 。
利润表是反映企业在一定会计期间的经营成果的财务报表。反映企业盈利能力。表内关系：收入 - 支出 = 利润

盈利能力比率
Gross profit margin=Gross Profit/Net Sales
Return on asset (ROA)=NI/avg. TA
Return on equity (ROE)=NI/avg. TE
毛利率
Gross Profit Margin
毛利率 = 毛利 / 营业收入。毛利率越高则说明企业的盈利能力越强，控制成本的能力越强。
资产回报率
ROA
资产收益率 = 净利润 / 平均资产总额。资产收益率是衡量盈利能力的指标之一，越大越好。表明企业资产利用效果越好。
股本回报率
ROE
股本回报率 = 净收益 / 平均总股东权益。是衡量相对于股东权益的投资回报之指标，反映公司利用资产净值产生纯利的能力。
流动性比率
流动性比率是流动性资产与流动性负债的比率，分母都是 CL （流动 / 短期负债），考察企业短期偿债能力。
Quick ratio=(cash+short-term marketable securities+A/R)/CL
Cash ratio= (Cash + Marketable Securities) / Current Liabilities
流动比率
流动比率 = 流动资产 / 流动负债，用来衡量企业流动资产在短期债务到期以前，可以变为现金用于偿还负债的能力。一般说来，比率越高，说明企业资产的变现能力越强，短期偿债能力亦越强；反之则弱。
速动比率
速动比率 =( 现金 + 短期可流通证券 + 应收账款 )/ 流动负债。
现金比率

现金比率 = （货币资金 + 有价证券） / 流动负债。考察企业变现能力。
相对估值
挑选同行业可比公司，可采用乘数方法较为简便，如 P/E 、 P/B 、 EV/EBITDA 、 PEG 、 P/S 。
市盈率
P/E
市盈率 P/E ：反映市场对公司收益预期的相对指标。
静态 P/E = 股价 / 上一年度的每股收益 (EPS)( 年 )
动态 P/E = 股价 * 总股本 / 今年或下一年度的净利润 ( 需要做预测 ) 。

P/S
P/S (Price-to-sales ratio) 市销率 我应该使用基本面分析 = 总市值 / 销售收入 = ( 股价 x 总股数 )/ 销售收入。
市销率越小（比如小于 1 ），通常被认为投资价值越高，这是因为投资者可以付出比单位营业收入更少的钱购买股票。
企业价值乘数
EV/EBITDA
EV （ Enterprise value/ 企业价值） = 市值 + （总负债 - 总现金）； EBITDA 即扣除利息、所得 税、折旧、摊销之前的利润。
EV/EBITA 不仅包含股东的权益和股权市值，也包含债权人收益和债券市值。考虑到了企业不同的杠杆水平，两家盈利能力相同的企业可能会由于融资的多少导致 P/E 不同，但 EV/EBITDA 差别不大。所以在杠杆大小不一的行业，使用企业价值乘数比 P/E 得出结果更准确。
企业价值 / 销售
EV/S
市售率高的股票相对价值较高，以市售率为评分依据，给予 0 到 100 之间的一个评分，市售率评分越高，相应的股票价值也较高。但在销售收入不稳定情况下（有强烈周期性或多变性），慎用 EV/S 。

而一般來說基本分析會透過三個面向來分析一間公司，分別是「總體經濟學分析」，通常包括國際和國內各項經濟指標，像是 GDP 成長率、通貨膨脹、利率、匯率等等，目的是分析出經濟景氣的好壞，從而可以提前應對。
