CIFF’s Nairobi office has been operational since 2009, and in 2019 we opened our office in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (officially signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ethiopian Government in 2018), increasing the level of localisation.

Building on several years of engagement with Chinese partners on climate programming, CIFF opened an office in Beijing in 2019. CIFF’s 投資英文 work in China focuses exclusively on climate, and the Chinese Government’s increased focus.
